Update On Vehicle Manufacturing

Vehicles for the Cincinnati Streetcar are really starting to take shape!

CAF sent these photos from its manufacturing facility in Zaragoza, Spain. Finally assembly will take place at CAF USA's facility in Elmira, NY.

The vehicles are being constructed to precise specifications for Cincinnati's streetcar system.

ABOVE: This component is part of the carbody that sits over the wheels (the seats go on top of that).

ABOVE is a roof panel for the carbody.

ABOVE: The carbodies are starting to look like an actual vehicle.

ABOVE: The "cutout" shape you see at the front of this vehicle will be a transparent barrier between the operator's cabin and the passenger cabin.
