Construction Contractor On Board, Off and Running
New Project Exec. joins Project Team
Messer/Prus/Delta Railroad JV (MPD), the City's streetcar construction contractor, has begun work full force -- assembling their team, completing agreements with subcontractors, placing orders for materials, getting permits, and developing a construction schedule.
John Deatrick began his first full week on the streetcar project as the Project Executive, joining Chris Eilerman as the Project Manager.
MPD placed a construction trailer at the future location of the maintenance and operations facility at Race & Henry Streets. This will open soon as the construction office for the project.
Construction for Week of August 12th

Duke is working on gas lines on Elm St. in Over-the-Rhine.

Duke is working on electric utilities on Walnut St. in the Central Business District.

MPD crews will be working on Elm St. between 12th and 14th Streets.

MPD Crews will be working on Central Pkwy. between Race and Walnut Streets.
Streets will be open.
