Groundbreaking at Roselawn Sports Complex

Jul. 2

On July 2, CRC, the Reds Community Fund and Major League Baseball celebrated a groundbreaking for the expansion of Roselawn Park. Many dignitaries, as well as Cincinnati Reds players Joey Votto and Jay Bruce, were on hand to recognize the development of the Urban Youth Baseball Academy.

Roselawn Park has been home to adult baseball as well as the home fields for Walnut Hills High School and Purcell Marian. CRC is partnering with the Reds Community Fund and Major League Baseball to expand the complex to be a state of the art baseball facility for Cincinnati.

The renovated park will include three full-sized baseball fields, one softball field, an indoor youth academy, a new playground, shelter and restroom park area and renovated outdoor basketball courts.
