Meet The Staff
Sedrick Denson, Director of Community and Legislative Services
Sedrick is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of School for Creative and Performing Arts. He is currently studying Organizational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati.
Working in Councilman Wendell Young’s office gives Sedrick the ability to reach the community in a meaningful way. Sedrick has been working in the Councilman’s office since May 2011, and currently resides in College Hill.
Alyssa Konermann, Policy and Communications Director
Alyssa grew up just north of Cincinnati, and moved into the city to attend Xavier University. There, she was in the Community-Engaged Fellowship and, as part of the program, interned at a variety of community organizations.
She graduated from the Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Honors program with a minor in Studio Art.
She has worked for Councilman Young since May 2011 and currently lives in Over the Rhine.
Timothy McClure, Community Liaison
Timothy is a Cincinnati native and graduate of Cincinnati Public Schools. He earned a BA in Religious Studies from International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Tim has more than 10 years of experience in community service he held progressive leadership positions with various organizations, churches and Charter School Board.
He currently resides in Northside.
Joshua Sabo, Community Liaison
Josh Sabo is a junior honors student in the Philosophy, Politics, and the Public program at Xavier University, also studying history.
He is originally from just outside Detroit, Michigan. His hobbies include sports, reading, and volunteering.
Passionate about city life, Josh enjoys exploring Cincinnati’s cultural history, whether that be restaurants, architecture, or the city’s unique neighborhoods.
His work involves community outreach, constituent services, and policy research.
