If someone comes to your door and says they are with the Greater Cincinnati Water Works, ask for identification. Our Meter Readers and Customer Service Representatives wear uniforms with patches on their hats and sleeves that read "Cincinnati Water Works." Each employee also carries a picture ID. Ask to see the ID before you let anyone into your home. If you have any suspicions about the person, please call us immediately at 513-591-7700. Do not let the person into your home before calling.

  • Have your account number ready when you call with billing questions.
  • Let us know at least 2 days in advance when you are selling your property and need a final bill.
  • Give us the name of the new owner who will be responsible for the new bill after you move.
  • Keep your plumbing in first rate condition to prevent high bills.
  • Keep your meter accessible for our Meter Reader.
