Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)

Using horizontal directional drilling (hdd), workers drilled the tunnel under the Ohio River in three weeks for the pipeline delivering GCWW water to Boone County and Northern Kentucky.  They then used the drill to pull the pipe back through the tunnel.
