Achievement
Presented by Association of Metropolitan Water Utilities who recognized GCWW for long-term excellence in utility management.

Winner - 2002 Risk Reduction Achievement Award
Presented by the Alliance for Chemical Safety for GCWW's significant reduction in on-site storage and use of chlorine.

Winner - 2001 Gold Award for Competitiveness Achievement
Presented by the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies who recognized GCWW as one of the nation's best operated water systems.

Winner as part of consortium
National 2001 Exemplary Wellhead Protection Award
Presented by the American Water Works Association to
the Hamilton to New Baltimore Groundwater Consortium,
created to protect Great Miami Aquifer. Bolton Plant treats groundwater
from the aquifer for customers in parts of northwestern
Hamilton County, and parts of Butler and Warren Counties.

Winner - 1999 Grand Award
for Excellence in Engineering Design

Presented by the Consulting Engineers Council to GCWW
as a coinvestigator on an innovative study that determined
the ability of various disinfectants to kill Cryptosporidium.
