GCWW provides about 136 million gallons of water a day through 3,000 miles of water mains to  most of Hamilton County and parts of Butler and Warren Counties in Ohio, and to Boone County in Kentucky.

The Citizen Study Group formed by City Manager Milton Dohoney Jr. to research the feasibility of transitioning the Greater Cincinnati Water Works into a regional public water district has completed its study and has delivered its recommendations in a report to the City Manager.
