Transportation Design is responsible for maintaining a high quality, safe, balanced transportation street system.

The transportation design group in the Department of Transportation & Engineering  (DOTE) provides a wide variety of professional highway engineering services, including field investigations, design, financing, estimating, coordination with Ohio Department of Transportation, Hamilton County and the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Council of Governments, preparation of plans for parking lots, street improvement and street rehabilitation projects. We also provide bicycle coordination and review of private subdivisions. Our team of professional engineers and technicians utilizes state of the art computerized technology to complete projects.
