Stimulus Funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

Since President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), or "Stimulus Act," into law, one of the most commonly heard questions throughout City Hall has been, "How much stimulus money will Cincinnati receive?"

Signed into law on February 17, the ARRA provided $787.2 billion dollars in federal spending and tax cuts to get our economy back on track. $575.3 billion of this will fund spending, and of this, about $8.8 billion is expected to flow to the State of Ohio.  Read More
