Power Of Attorney

Power Of Attorney For Pensioners

By law, the Cincinnati Retirement System cannot disclose, discuss, or transact business with anyone but the pensioner regarding the pensioner’s account.

If the pensioner becomes disabled or incapacitated or otherwise unable to manage their own affairs, the Cincinnati Retirement System must have a valid Durable Power of Attorney form on file designating an individual who is responsible for any changes made to the pensioner’s account on behalf of the pensioner.

Pensioners should contact their attorney to prepare and execute a Durable Power of Attorney form.  The Cincinnati Retirement System cannot and does not provide legal or financial advice to anyone.
