What Group am I in?
Group assignments were determined based on each member’s age and service credit as of July 1, 2011.
Members who retire on or before July 1, 2011 are assigned in Group AB. Retirement “on” July 1, 2011 includes service up to and including June 30, 2011.
Members who had at least 30 years service credit by June 30, 2011 OR who were at least 60 years old with 5 years service credit on or before June 30, 2011, are in Group C.
Members who will have at least 30 years service credit by December 31, 2013 OR who will be at least 60 years old with at least 5 years service credit by December 31, 2013, are in Group D.
Members who are currently assigned to Group D that do not retire on or before January 1, 2014 will be reassigned to Group E on January 1, 2014.
Members who were hired on or before December 31, 2009 and are not eligible for Group C or Group D, are in Group F.
Members who were hired on or after January 1, 2010 are in Group G.
