- CRC Golf Courses Collecting Toys for Children
In the spirit of holiday giving, CRC golf courses are collecting new, unwrapped toys for boys & girls age 5-12. Please bring toys to one of the CRC golf courses and place in the designated Toy Drive Collection box.

- CRC’s Newly Renovated McKie Recreation Center is Open for Tours
For months, workers have been busy on the McKie Recreation Center renovation, and now the work is complete. Vice Mayor Roxanne Qualls officially the ribbon earlier today. You are invited to tour the new facility and grounds until 6:00 p.m. Thurs. Nov. 29 and from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday Nov. 30.

- CRC Starts to Certify Lifeguards for the 2013 Summer Season
It may be getting cold outside but CRC Aquatics is thinking about summer lifeguards! If you are interested in being part of CRC pools while working a fun job for next summer, plan to attend the American Red Cross Lifeguard certification course this Friday.

The Clifton Recreation Center’s Art For Artist group opened a Fiber Show at The Women’s Cultural Art Center, 6980 Cambridge Avenue, Mariemont, OH (27) on November 16th and it will run through November 29th.

For months, workers have been busy on the McKie Recreation Center renovation, and the work is complete. The center’s grand re-opening will be Thursday, November 29 at 10 a.m.

Attention Runners and Walkers…CRC's annual Seven Hills Run/Walk takes place this Sunday December 2. For 35 years, CRC’s challenging Seven Hills Run/Walk has attracted runners throughout the city.

- Get a Free Light for your Bike at a CRC Recreation Center
Throughout the month of November, Cincinnati Recreation Commission is teaming up with Queen City Bike to distribute and install free lights on your bike. Not only does this help with safety and ensure you’re not riding in the dark, it also keeps you legal. Bicycle lights are required by law.

- A New Playground and Community Garden in Camp Washington
Cincinnati Recreation Commission partnered with the Humana Foundation, KaBOOM!, Camp Washington Community Board and the Camp Washington Business Association to give the children of Camp Washington a safe place to play. This past Saturday, November 10, 300 volunteers from the community gathered to build a playground and community garden at the Camp Washington Recreation Center.

- Camp Washington Gets a New Playground
To give the children of Camp Washington a safe place to play, CRC is partnering with Humana and KaBOOM! (a national non-profit organization that has built more than 2,100 playgrounds) to build a new playground in Camp Washington. A fire destroyed the playground earlier this summer.
