- CRC Needs Lifeguards
Want to make a difference in the lives of children and work outside at a fun summer job? The Cincinnati Recreation Commission is hiring 63 more lifeguards to staff the pools for the summer. CRC hires more than 225 lifeguards for the summer season.

- Spots available for Teen Camp at Mt. Washington Recreation Center
CAMP CRC has a cure for “I’m bored!” As seen on Cincinnati.com, your teen can be an active part of Mt. Washington Recreation Center’s teen camp. Teens can enjoy a full day of activities which include hiking, biking, canoeing, swimming and more. Camp runs June 10-August 9, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Space is limited.

- Cincinnati Art Ambassador Fellowships
Late last year, seven local artists received Cincinnati Art Ambassador Fellowships – $6,000 grants from the City of Cincinnati with organization from Cincinnati Recreation Commission – to produce their artwork. They have each been busy since October making great use of that money.

- Adult Summer Softball
If you are a softball player or thinking of becoming one, now’s the time to get started. The CRC summer softball session begins in June, and registration starts next week. Priority registration – for teams who played in summer 2012 – will take place Monday, April 29 – Tuesday, May 7. Open registration for all new teams will start Thursday, May 9 and end Friday, June 7 or until leagues are filled, whichever comes first.

- CRC Receives a Grant!
Cincinnati Recreation Commission is the proud recipient of a 2013 Make a Splash grant from the USA Swimming Foundation. The grant will enable 375 children to receive free swim lessons this summer.

- Spaces still available for RiverTrek 2013 – Deadline to register is May 1
Spaces are still available for this summer’s trip of a lifetime. CRC’s RiverTrek 2013 – July 22 through 26 - is a weeklong, 75-mile trip canoeing and camping along the Little Miami River for teens. - CRC Baseball Registration is Open Now Through May 1: Full payment due May 3
There are some changes to the schedule for the upcoming 2013 season. On July 8, construction for the new Cincinnati Reds Urban Youth Academy will begin at Roselawn Park. - CRC Adult Sand Volleyball Spring Registration
Spring is here! And that means it’s time for the beginning of spring registration for CRC adult volleyball. Priority registration (for teams that played last year) begins April 2. Be sure to visit the athletics/volleyball portion of the site for information about signing up.
