In the event of a snow emergency, CRC Recreation Centers will make every effort to remain open for programming, and will communicate any late openings, reduced schedules or closures. Please call your local Center to determine staffing levels.

- CRC ‘s Mt. Auburn Indoor Pool is OPEN!
The Mt. Auburn Indoor Pool looks better than ever with interior painting upgrades which caused the pool to close temporarily. It reopens on January 6 with popular programming such as water exercise and swim lessons.

- Cincinnati Children Received Bikes at the Madisonville Recreation Center
Thanks to the Cincinnati Holiday Bike Drive and the Madisonville Recreation Center, low income families and kids from all over town received bicycles and cycling safety education. On December 8, bicyclists from all areas of Cincinnati – Montgomery Cyclery, Bishop’s Bicycles and the Cincinnati Cycle Club – came together to volunteer and help give cycles and cycling advice.

Congratulations to the Cincinnati Recreation Commission National Junior Tennis & Learning program (NJTL) which was selected as the USTA/Midwest Section 2013 NJTL Chapter of the Year.

- CRC Children Go Shopping with Bengals Players
Earlier this week, Cincinnati Recreation Commission kids shopped with Bengals Players at the Marvin Lewis Community Fund “Shop with a Jock Event.” They shopped for winter coats, gloves, boots, hats and other cold weather accessories and Christmas gifts at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Store in the Kenwood area.

- CAMP CRC – Holiday Mini Day Camps
When Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) are on extended break, CAMP CRC can care for your children – and keep them active at the same time!
Children, ages 6 to 12, have a safe place to spend vacation days at a CRC Holiday Day Camp enjoying movie time, arts and crafts and field trips (activities vary by center).

- Happy Holidays from Westwood Town Hall
Begin the holiday season in style at Westwood Town Hall Recreation Center with Westwood’s Deck the Hall on December 1. Experience Santa’s workshop from 2-4 p.m. and come for a tree-lighting and choir performances from 4-6 p.m. The day’s festivities are presented by Westwood Works, Westwood Civic Association, CRC, Cincinnati Parks, Madcap Puppets, Broadhope Art Collective and the Gamble-Nippert YMCA.
