- Therapeutic Recreation Announces Its Spring and Summer Programs
CRC’s Therapeutic Recreation Division (TR) has a full plate of spring and summer programming. As advocates for individuals with disabilities, CRC’s TR Department provides inclusive recreation programming choices and promotes accessibility at all CRC facilities.

Applications are now being accepted to serve as a Cincinnati Art Ambassador. Application deadline is March 28, 2014 at 4 p.m. Seven (7) artists will be selected and will receive up to $6,000 each in support of their work.

It’s time to think about summer! Want to join our CRC team? Be sure to attend a CRC American Red Cross Lifeguard certification course. Our first course will be held March 7. Other courses begin March 21, April 4, April 25, May 9, June 3, June 9 and July 7.

- Just added! Preschool Multi-Sport Camp at Lunken Playfield
Due to popular demand, CAMP CRC will be offering a week-long summer camp at Lunken Playfield just for boys and girls ages 4-5 (Pre-K). This Multi-Sport Camp will be held July 14-18 and focuses on basic sport-skill development such as hand-foot-eye coordination, running, throwing, catching, kicking, etc. Participants will be exposed to sports including soccer, tennis, t-ball, and more

The Cincinnati Recreation Commission received three awards of excellence from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association (OPRA) during their recent conference in Sandusky, OH.

Participants from Clifton’s Art for Artists program at CRC’s Clifton Recreation Center worked together with members of Art4Artists and local teen girls on an exhibition which celebrates National Women’s History Month. Kennedy Heights Arts Center presents the group exhibition of collaborative art books March 8 – April 19.

- Join CRWGA Today!
The Cincinnati Recreation Women’s Golf Association is a league of women golfers, 18 years old and older, associated with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. CRWGA plays one course each month from May through September. CRWGA also has special events during the season, including the Odd Ball Scramble, 2-Person Best Ball, the ProLady and the Club Championship.
