 Batter up! The Cincinnati Recreation Commission offers baseball leagues at different competitive levels for adults of all ages at Roselawn Park.

2014 CRC Adult Baseball

There are a few changes for the upcoming baseball season… 
• Tammi Nuber is the new Adult Athletics Coordinator.  She has been working closely with the former Coordinators to make sure that it is a seamless transition.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call Tammi at 513-352-1627.

The 2014 CRC Adult Baseball Manager’s Meeting will be held on May 22nd, 6:30 p.m. at Roselawn Park Shelter.  Please plan to attend in order to pick up your schedules & rule books!

As in year’s past, umpires will not be paid on the field. All umpire fees are included in the team fees which must be paid prior to your team being placed on the schedule.
CRC Adult Baseball is an NABF franchise.

Each league win will count towards seeding in the City Tournament.
• Play in one CRC league = each win is multiplied by 1.0 to determine your seeding rank
• Play in two CRC leagues = each win is multiplied by 1.2 to determine your seeding rank
• Play in three CRC leagues = each win is multiplied by 1.4 to determine your seeding rank

The champs from the Tuesday “Major” League and the Sunday “Double-Header” League will receive paid berths to the City Tournament. The registration fee for the City Tournament will be determined at a later date. The City Tournament Champs and the Tuesday “Major” League Champs will also receive paid berths to the NABF Regional Tournament hosted at Roselawn Park on August 6-10, 2014 along with 1 host berth available to the highest bidder.

LEAGUES

Summer Wednesday “Recreational” League (less competitive)
Dates of play:   May 28, June 4, 11 (bye), 18, 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30.   Evening,
7-inning, single game, wood bat league at Roselawn lighted fields for $945 per team. Includes all umpire fees. Teams are responsible for supplying the game balls.
 
Summer Tuesday “Major” League (very competitive)
Dates of play: June 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29.  Evening, 7-inning, single game, wood bat league at Roselawn with lighted fields for $945 per team. Includes all umpire fees. Teams are responsible for supplying the game balls. The Champion of this league will receive a paid berth to the City Tournament.
 
Summer Sunday “Double-Header” League (moderately competitive)
Dates of play:   June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, July 6. 13, 20 & 27. Afternoon & early evening, 7-inning, double-header, wood bat league at Roselawn lighted fields for $1,345 per team. Includes all umpire fees. Teams are responsible for supplying the game balls. The Champion of this league will receive a paid berth to the City Tournament.


Fall Sunday “Intermediate” League (moderate to less competitive)
Dates of play: August 24, 31, September 7, 14, 21, 28, October 5, 12 & 19.  Afternoon & early evening, 7-inning, single game, wood bat league at Roselawn with lighted fields for $945 per team. Includes all umpire fees. Teams are responsible for supplying the game balls.
 

TOURNAMENTS

City Tournament – Dates of play: August 2-3. All CRC League baseball teams are eligible. Registration fee based on number of teams participating and will be determined prior to the registration deadline of July 18. Teams are responsible for supplying the game balls. The Champs of the Tuesday “Major” League and the Sunday “Double-Header” League receive paid berths to the City Tournament. The City Tournament Champ receives a paid berth to the NABF Regional Qualifier which CRC will host at Roselawn Park on August 6-10 (August 6 registration).


NABF Regional Tournament (Major Division – Two and Out) - Dates of play: Everyday from August 7-10.  The NABF Regional Champs receive a berth to the NABF World Series to be played in Battle Creek, MI on August 13-17, 2014. The Champs of the City Tournament and the Champs of the Tuesday “Major” League receive paid berths to the NABF Regional Tournament. There is one additional host berth that is available to the highest bidder. Tournament Manager’s meeting will be held on August 6th at Roselawn.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION


All registration and league operation information is available on the CRC web site at www.cincyrec.org. If you have questions, please call the Athletics Division at (513) 352-4020.

How do I register my team? 

Please read all information, and then choose how you would like to register.

1. To register by fax with credit card payment only – Print the application form from the left column on the CRC web site. Send the completed application to the CRC fax at (513) 352-1605.  Call with credit card information. (VISA or MasterCard only)
2. To register by the U.S. Postal Service – Print and complete the application form from the left column of the CRC web site. Mail the completed application and check or money order to the CRC, 805 Central Ave Suite 800, Cincinnati, OH 45202.  Or you may call with credit card information. (VISA or MasterCard only)
3. To register in-person – Print the application form in the left column from the CRC web site. Bring the completed application and payment to the CRC Athletics Division.
4. To register by phone with credit card payment only – Print the application form from the left column from the CRC web site. Call the CRC Athletics Division with your registration information and credit card info. (VISA or MasterCard only)
5. ALL applications must have a completed league (NABF) roster attached with your entry! Do not use the generic CRC roster form.

For ALL credit card payments, you must phone the Athletics Division with your VISA/MasterCard number and expiration date to complete the registration process.
 
When Do I register?
PRIORITY REGISTRATION for Spring/Summer
                      Teams that played in 2013 may register April 16 – April 25, 2014. 
NEW TEAM REGISTRATION for Spring/Summer
                      New teams may register April 28 – May 16, 2014.
                      No entries will be accepted after the ending date.
PRIORITY REGISTRATION for Fall
                      Teams that played in 2012 may register July 1 - 18, 2014.
NEW TEAM REGISTRATION for Fall
                      New teams may register July 21 - August 8, 2014.
                      No entries accepted after the ending date.

 How do I pay?
The league fee, which includes umpire fees, is made payable to “CRC Athletics” and is due at the time of registration. Your registration is not complete without payment. Applications and payments will be accepted at the CRC Athletics Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.  Payment may be made with cash (in-person only), check, money order or Visa/MasterCard.  Credit card payments require that you phone the Athletics Division with the credit card number and expiration date to complete the registration process.

NABF team roster forms for the Spring/Summer leagues are due at the CRC Athletics Office with your application, NO  EXCEPTIONS! Do not use the generic roster found on the CRC web site for other sports.
