The Office on Contract Compliance is responsible for administering, enforcing, and monitoring the Equal Employment Opportunity Program, the Living Wage Program; and the Prevailing Wage laws.
- The Banks Project Contractor Requirements
The Banks Small Business Enterprise Program requires contractors to use their "good faith efforts" to facilitate achievement of participation goals.
- Equal Employment Opportunity Program
All vendors/contractors are subject to the provisions of the City of Cincinnati Contract Compliance Program regarding the Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
- Living Wage
The Cincinnati Municipal Code ordains a "living wage" for full-time City employees or for full and part-time employees of contractors and subcontractors providing or delivering services to the City of Cincinnati. Contractors and subcontractors must submit living wage forms with their responses to requests for proposals, invitations to bid, contract amendments and contract renewals requiring the living wage.
- Prevailing Wage: City-/State-Funded Construction
All contractors and subcontractors on City projects must pay the appropriate Ohio prevailing wage rate (when applicable) to all craftsman, tradesman, laborers, and mechanics that work on the project.
- Prevailing Wage: Federally Funded Construction
All contractors and subcontractors on federally funded City construction projects must pay the appropriate Davis-Bacon wage rate (when applicable) to all craftsman, tradesman, laborers and mechanics that work on the project.
