Winter Operations Update: Monday, Jan. 20, 2014
The next round of snow is forecasted for the overnight hours.
Crews will be back at it this evening, pretreating roadways ahead of the snowfall.
The City is ramping up at 7 p.m. Crews will be working a 12-hour shift and will be relieved by a fresh crew at 7 a.m.
Crews will be pretreating both primary and residential streets, but primary roads will be the main focus as crews attempt to make the morning commute as safe as possible.
Anticipate slick road conditions during the morning commute due to the timing of the forecasted precipitation.

Rest Of Today: Partly cloudy. Scattered flurries this afternoon. Highs in the upper 30s. Temperatures falling into the mid 30s this afternoon. West winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Cloudy. Snow likely...mainly after midnight. Snow accumulation 1 to 2 inches. Lows 15 to 20. Northwest winds around 5 mph...becoming north 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of snow 70 percent.
Holiday Trash & Recycling Reminder
Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a City-observed holiday. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day all week.
