The Blue Wave was a periodical newsletter published by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) for its officers, civilian employees, retirees and their respective families. It contained current CPD news and feature stories about people. The cost of the publication's production was originally underwritten by a grant from Procter & Gamble and Federated Department Stores administered through Bridges for Just Community.
Because of budget cuts, the publication is currently on hiatus. A publication return date has not been established.
