H3Cincy Pep Rally & Tip-Off Celebration

Partnership Starts Innovative Educational Athletic Enrichment Program

On February 28th, the highly anticipated collaboration between the City of Cincinnati Police Department
and Boys Hope Girls Hope of Greater Cincinnati, known as the H3 Cincy Pilot Program will tip off. The
city-wide youth enrichment program is a 10 week educational and athletic program for kids ages 10
– 19. Young people have been applying for several weeks, and Friday at Cincinnati State there will be
a tip-off pep rally to start the program off. Participants ages 15 – 19 will play traditional basketball,
while younger participants ages 10 – 14 will have opportunities to compete using Xbox video games.

“We do have a few open spots on teams,” said Chief Jeffrey Blackwell. “Parents can come on Friday
and sign their children up on-site at Cincinnati State people to get the final spots to participate in this
phenomenal program.”

Walking in the door, each guest will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win an I-pad mini. The evening
will be high energy and will set the tone for what promises to be a very successful youth outreach athletic
and enrichment program. In addition, Northern Kentucky University representative, Dana Harley, will
announce an exciting photo contest that will occur during the 10-week program.

“Several of our amazing hometown partners and restaurants have signed up to provide food and
beverages for the 10-week program,” said Boys Hope Girls Hope Executive Director Debbie Bowman.
“We can’t wait to announce our sponsors and the logo designed by Cincinnati’s own LPK design
