As of July 1, 2015, the Department of Planning & Buildings has split into the Department of City Planning and the Department of Buildings & Inspections.

The City Planning Commission will not have a meeting on Friday, July 3, 2015. The City Planning Commission will participate in a special retreat/training meeting on Monday, July 6, 2015. The next business meeting of the City Planning Commission will be on Friday, July 17, 2015.

- University Impact Area Study
This study will look at zoning, housing, fire, health, and parking codes as well as other solutions to the quality of life concerns in the area around the University of Cincinnati. Whether you are a property owner, a student, a business owner, or community organization, now is the time to come together to ensure a high quality of life for all that live, work, and play in the neighborhood. It is the goal that this study and proposed solutions will take approximately one year to complete.

- Public Staff Conference Thursday, April 23, 2015
A public staff conference will be held to discuss a report and recommendation on text amendments to the City’s zoning codes to reflect changes to the administrative code effective July 1, 2015, which changes redistribute duties and responsibilities among the new Department of Buildings and Inspections, the Department of City Planning, and the Law Department in relation to the City’s zoning codes.
