1. What does the Employment and Training Division do?

The Division assist City of Cincinnati residents with their job search and sponsors job training programs.

2. Who do I call to find out about training programs?

Call the Career Resource Center 731-9800 or stop by their office at 1811 Losantiville Road. They are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

3. If I need help finding a job, where can I go?

You can contact the Employment Initiatives Program at 357-2893 or stop by their office at 19 West Elder Street in the Findley Market Area.

4. Can someone help me with my resume?

Yes. If you go to the Career Resource Center, a staff member can help you develop a resume.

5. I have just been laid off; how do I get unemployment insurance?

You need to call the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services at 852-3469 to see if you qualify for the program.

6. Do you know where I could get information on various careers?

Yes. If you need career information, call the Career Resource Center at 731-9800 or stop by their office at 1811 Losantiville Road. They are open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The staff at the Center can sit down with you and discuss your options.

7. I need to hire employees for business, who can I call?

You need to call the Employment Initiatives Program at 357-2893 and speak to a Business Services Representative.

8. What is the cost of the services?

There is no cost to the Job Seeker or Business.
