MOTION, dated 11/10/2009, submitted by Vice-Mayor Crowley, that the City of Cincinnati shall continue the "City of Cincinnati's 2009 Urban Gardening Pilot Program" as a permanent program offered by the City called, "City of Cincinnati's Urban Agriculture Program."; and that the program need not receive funding from the City, since the Energy Efficiency Block Grant (EEBG) that was awarded to the City of Cincinnati includes $75,000 over 3 years to expand the Urban Gardening Pilot Program.; and that we rename the Citizen Advisory Group to the 2009 Urban Gardening Piolt Program, to the "Cincinnati Urban Agriculture Advisory Board", and implement the recommendations outlined in the Cincinnati's Urban Gardening Pilot Program Annual Report-2009 (See Attached). Curp, City Solicitor, AUTHORIZING the transfer of the sum of $22,000 from Reserve for Contingencies operating account no. 050x990x7200 to Community Development operating account no. 050x161x7200 for the purpose of providing funding for United Way to administer the City of Cincinnati's human service grant process for 2009 for one-fourth of a year of funding beginning with the date that the City of Cincinnati enters into a contract with United Way.
