WE FURTHER MOVE that this Task Force meet and identify within 30 days of passage of this motion the transportation, cost and medical data needed to review and develop an alternative medical transportation policy and plan for City Council approval. Such data will include: 1. Unit Hour Utilization for each existing ambulance/rescue unit; 2. Response time (in fractiles) for each ambulance and rescue unit to determine what percentage of our transport units get to the scene within 8 minutes; 3. MOTION, dated 2/21/2008 submitted by Councilmembers Qualls, Cranley, Monzel, Thomas, Cole and Vice Mayor Crowley that the City of Cincinnati will construct the first phase of a streetcar system that would connect downtown Cincinnati to Uptown, an area that includes the University of Cincinnati, the hospital complex, Clifton and Mt. Auburn. The city administration will proceed to plan for a larger streetcar system that serves the neighborhoods of the City of Cincinnati. Such a system will be integrated into an expanded bus system as outlined in the SORTA Metro Moves plan and be consistent with any plans for future Light Rail Transit (LRT). Prior to final approval of the Phase I plan and undertaking any construction for Phase I, the city administration will complete the following analysis and upon completion of each study, the administration will present its findings to the Mayor and the City Council for approval. REPORT, dated 09/12/2007, submitted by Councilmember Cranley, from Milton Dohoney, Jr., City Manager, on an adopted MOTION, dated 7/30/07, submitted by Councilmembers Cranley, Monzel, Thomas, Crowley, Cole and Ghiz, that the City prepare the necessary ordinances to use the Neighborhood Incentive District Loan Fund to fund the following neighborhood revitalization projects: 1. To complement existing streetscape projects by $750,000.00 each in the following TIF districts: a. Evanston (TIF 11) along Dana Avenue and Montgomery Road; b. Walnut Hills (TIF 6) along McMillan Avenue; c. West Price Hill (TIF 13) for Glenway Avenue; 2. $750,000 - Building acquisition and demolition in Westwood (TIF 18); and 3. $750,000 - Capital improvements around Oakley Square in Oakley (TIF 20); and that these projects be financed in such a way that the District will ultimately pay for the public improvements; that the City establish a procedure to provide all neighborhoods in the twenty TIF districts the opportunity to apply for funding for neighborhood projects; that whenever a project is to be funded with TIF District funds that the administration provide an explanation of the impact of that project on the capacity of the TIF District; that anytime a project is to be funded as a direct loan from the Neighborhood Incentive District Loan Fund that the administration provide City Council with the amount and length of the loan, method for repayment and the project's impact on the capacity of the fund.
