MOTION, dated 1/18/08 submitted by Councilmember Cole, that the administration develop an updated process to determine which city streets qualify for street calming through the funding made available in the 2008 Budget, and present this process before Council for a vote. Also that streets which did not receive speed humps due to a cut in funding in 2003 become a priority for this program, including Wess Park Drive in the North Avondale neighborhood. Since street calming funds were cut in 2003 some streets that supported the construction of street calming structures were not provided with steed humps. Wess Park Drive in North Avondale has continued to request speed humps since 2003 and should be given a priority status, along with other streets that missed out due to funding cuts.Item Status/Referral/Recommendations:
