MOTION, dated 9/26/2007 submitted by Vice Mayor Crowley, WE FURTHER MOVE that the City Administration lead a working committee to include, current City employees' unions, the Retirement Board, the City Administration and any other experts in the field deemed necessary, to negotiate a set of recommendations detailing how to best determine an alternative to a January 1, 2008 start date for changes to future retirees benefits. WE FURTHER MOVE that the working committees recommendations be presented to Council on or before March 15, 2008.
