Interning In Mayor Cranley's Office
Interning in the Mayor's Office is a great opportunity to learn about the functions and opportunities of city government. Interns have the opportunity to work with staff members who are directly involved with the daily functions of the Mayor's Office.
Some tasks that interns perform are conducting policy research, aiding with local initiatives of the office, respond to community issues and concerns and help writing press releases and briefings.
We offer internships in the summer, fall and spring. Typical applicants are current university students or recent graduates.
Interns in the fall and spring must be willing to commit to at least 8 hours of work a week. Summer interns should be able to work at least 25 hours a week.
Full- or part-time internships available. Many interns receive class credit through their respective universities for the internship.
