The Cincinnati STD/HIV Prevention Training Center is one of ten national sites that provide training to health professionals. The center was eastablished in 1979, as a cooperative venture of the Cincinnati Health Department, Ohio Department of Health, and the University of Cincinnati.
The training center provides courses primarily for health professionals in Region V, which includes Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
We are proud to be one of the 10 National sites for 22 years and continue to meet the need for effective training in STD clinical services in support of disease prevention. Also, the site serves as the primary source of post-graduate STD eduation for medical professionals.
