The Cincinnati Health Department has a long history of providing primary health care services to uninsured and underinsured Cincinnati residents. The services offered are designed to meet the unmet medical and dental needs of our city residents, whether due to accessibility, economic conditions, or other factors that inhibit their ability to obtain health care.
The Department operates six health care centers; five of which provide comprehensive services, five dental clinics, and one health clinic that specializes in diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STD). The health centers are located in neighborhoods identified to have the greatest health needs. Each of the six primary health care centers offer a complete range of services, including Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as, on-site Laboratory and Pharmacy services.
