Founded in 1967, Enterprise Technology Solutions was formed by an agreement between the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, along with a large number of law enforcement agencies in the County, to service the information technology needs of their various governmental functions.

Margo Springs, the City of Cincinnati's Chief Information Officer, is an experienced local government professional with more than 18 years in the public sector and significant achievements in financial management, technology management, strategic planning, development of workflow analysis, and business re-engineering.
As Chief Information Officer, Ms. Springs oversees all technology services for the City of Cincinnati, including information security, regional law enforcement networks, metropolitan area networks, disaster recovery planning, the City’s privately owned fiber optic network, UHF/VHF & 800MHz radio systems, telephone systems, enterprise business systems including email, electronic government, human resource and financial systems, and technical call center operations.
