Parking Information For Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is one of seven days specified in Cincinnati Municipal Code for holiday parking enforcement. The following will be in effect on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday Jan. 16, 2012:

• Motorists will not be required to pay parking meters in the City of Cincinnati on Monday, Jan. 16.
• "Rush Hour" parking restrictions (No Stopping or Parking 6-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m., etc.) normally in effect Monday through Friday will not be enforced on this day.

All other parking signs are enforceable. These are in place for safety and access reasons and apply on holidays as well as other days.

NOTE: Parking lots and parking garages are not exempt from enforcement during the holiday. Motorists must pay to park in these parking areas.
