West Fork Landslide Work
West Fork Road Temporarily Narrowed Due To Landslide
Drivers Urged To Go Slowly, Use Caution Through Area
City of Cincinnati engineers are assessing a landslide that has developed below West Fork Road, just west of Montana Avenue.
The slide currently ends at the white edge line along West Fork's westbound lane.
The road has not been undermined at this time and remains safe for travel. As an added safety measure for drivers, traffic crews have installed a temporary barrier wall just inside the white edge line.
Both east- and westbound traffic will be maintained. However, the travel lanes will be narrowed; drivers are urged to go slowly and use caution through this area.
Engineers will continue to monitor the area and determine the best course for repairs. The barrier and narrowed travel lanes may remain in place for several months until repairs can be completed.
