Pleasant Ridge will be holding their annual Ridge Day Parade this year on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013.

Ridge Day became a Pleasant Ridge tradition in the late 1990s. The festival represents a time for neighbors to visit, business owners to showcase their business and the community to celebrate the change of seasons and our great community. Ridge Day kicks off with a parade along Montgomery Road and will end with live music and dancing in the evening at our Ridge Night celebration.

In order to accommodate the Ridge Day Parade, the following streets will close on Saturday, September 28 at 10:45 a.m. and remain closed until approximately 1 p.m.:

  • Montgomery Road - Closed Grand Vista Avenue and Langdon Farm Road
  • Ridge Avenue - Closed between Parkview Avenue and Schubert Avenue
  • Woodburn Avenue - Closed between Pandora Avenue and Montgomery Road
  • Losantiville Avenue - Closed between Montgomery Road and Schubert Avenue
  • Lester Road - Closed between Douglas Terrace and Montgomery Road

METRO BUS SERVICE THAT NORMALLY USES THIS AREA WILL BE DETOURED AROUND THE CLOSURE. RIDERS SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS POSTED AT THEIR STOP.
