Detour To Alleviate Congestion At Ridge & Duck Creek
Due to the closure of Duck Creek Road between Ridge and Kennedy avenues, Ridge Avenue has been experiencing congestion. In an effort to improve traffic flow throughout that area, the City of Cincinnati is trying to divert as much traffic as possible away from the Ridge/Duck Creek intersection.
These changes will be in place prior to Tuesday afternoon.

Duck Creek Road is closed between Ridge Road and Kennedy Avenue. It will remain closed through the rest of 2013. As part of the Kennedy Connector project, extensive work will be done at the intersection of Kennedy and Duck Creek.
The Kennedy Connector project will build a new extension of Kennedy Avenue that will connect Duck Creek Road and Madison. The new road will improve traffic flow and safety. It also will provide new opportunities for economic development. The project began this spring and is expected to take nearly two years to complete.
