March Of Dimes March For Babies

The March of Dimes will hold its annual March for Babies on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

When you walk in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies.

In order to accommodate the March for Babies, the following streets will close on Sunday, April 28 at 8:30 a.m. and remain closed until approximately 12 Noon:

  • Elm Street - closed between Second Street and Mehring Way (closes at 6AM for the Staging Area)
  • Freedom Way - closed between Elm Street and Freedom Way (closes at 6AM for the Staging Area between Elm Street and Rosa Parks Street)
  • Race Street - closed south of Second Street (closes at 6AM for the Staging Area)
  • Rosa Parks Street - closed south of Second Street
  • Walnut Street - closed south of Second Street
  • Joe Nuxhall Way - closed south of Second Street
  • Ramp LL - closed
  • Mehring Way - closed between Central Avenue and E Pete Rose Way
  • Broadway - closed between Third Street and E Pete Rose Way
  • Johnny Bench Way - closed
  • E Pete Rose Way - closed between Johnny Bench Way and Eggleston Avenue
  • Taylor Southgate Bridge - closed
  • Roebling Suspension Bridge - southbound closed

Access to the Central Riverfront Garage (CRG) will be maintained at the W Pete Rose Way, Race Street, and Mehring Way entrances.

Drivers are reminded to use caution around the event site and follow instructions provided by the Cincinnati Police Department.
