The National Kidney Foundation will hold its annual Kidney Walk this year in Cincinnati on Sunday, June 2, 2013.

The Kidney Walk takes place all over the country, with over 100 events each year. More than 75,000 walkers have joined NKF to raise more than $7 million a year to help kidney patients and their families! The money you raise for the Kidney Walk goes to vital programs like education and early detection kidney health screenings.

To accommodate this event, the following streets will close:

Staging Area Closure at 6 a.m.:

  • Freedom Way - closed between Rosa Parks St and Walnut St

Route Closure at 9:30 a.m.:

  • E Pete Rose Way - eastbound only closed between Broadway and Johnny Bench Way
  • Johnny Bench Way - closed
  • Joe Nuxhall Way - closed
  • Rosa Parks St - closed south of Second St
  • Race St - closed south of Second St
  • Elm St - closed south of Second St
  • Freedom Way - closed between Elm St and Joe Nuxhall Way
  • Mehring Way - closed between Central Ave and E Pete Rose Way
  • Suspension Bridge - southbound only closed

All streets will remain closed until the course is clear at approximately 2 p.m.
