In December 2008, CRC’s Division of Therapeutic Recreation (TR) sent five swimmers to the Special Olympic State Swim Meet in Columbus. The CRC swimmers - Robin Dunning, Sarah Koehlke, Rachel Rickard, Taylor Bross and Margot Wayne -have been training since October and all had to pre-qualify for an invitation from the Hamilton County Special Olympics.

The CRC swimmers swam 2 events and brought home a total of 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals & 3 bronze medals. TR is excited to continue training for the Hamilton County Special Olympic Swim Meet in April and the State Meet held in the summer.
