 | The Cincinnati Recreation Commission-NFL Flag Football Program sponsored by the Anthony Muñoz Foundation offers well-organized, supervised fun for boys and girls ages 5 through 17. It introduces youngsters to the great game of football and fosters the development of teamwork and physical fitness by everyone involved. NFL flag football is a traditional non-contact flag football program. Boys and girls play on co-ed teams. All players are matched by age and ability. Skills taught include running, passing, and receiving. This is a great program for the children, because it allows the children the opportunity to participate in organized athletics, to be involved with the Bengals, and to keep them out of trouble on the street. Many of these children are from inner-city neighborhoods, and this kind of structured programming offers them the opportunity to develop fundamental skills.
