Therapeutic Day Camps

Camps are for children and teens with mental and/or physical disabilities.
 Camps are held Tuesday – Friday
(staff hours are 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
 Mondays are used as a planning day
(approximately 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.).
 Approximately 28 – 30 hours per week.
 Mandatory staff training held June 8 – June 12.
 Camp begins June 16 and continues through August 14 (9 weeks). 

 Inclusive Day Camps

CRC Camps are open to ALL children and teens (participants with and without disabilities).
Staff assigned to these inclusive camps will help to provide additional supervision and assistance to participants with disabilities.
Camps are held Monday – Friday.
40 hours per week.
Inclusion Training held May 29 - 30, followed by training at the Center on June 5.
Camp typically lasts 10 weeks, June 8 – August 14.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Previous work/volunteer experience with special populations is desired but not required.
Must be able and willing to lead active games.
When needed, ability to assist participants with personal care tasks.
Able to assist with swim instruction (swim certificate not required).
Must be available to work the entire 10 week period.

Must be able and willing to lead active games.
Assist participants with personal care tasks when needed.
Must be capable of being certified in First Aid/CPR.

Pay Rate:  $7.50 per hour & up
