Laure Quinlivan

Laure Quinlivan is serving her second term on Cincinnati City Council. She is chair of the Strategic Growth Committee, which oversees economic development, the environment, education, arts & culture, tourism & marketing, and human services. Her City Hall office number is 513-352-5303.

Laure wants to make Cincinnati "Cleaner, Greener & Smarter" and is champion of the streetcar project and all efforts to green Cincinnati. She co-chairs the Mayor’s Green Steering Committee.

Laure Quinlivan has her own video production and consulting company, LQ Consulting, and is a member of the Cincinnati Rotary Club.

She is the former Peabody Award-winning investigative reporter from the WCPO-TV I-Team. Her work helped spark the multimillion dollar investment in Vine Street and Over the Rhine. In 2001, in the wake of the City's riots, Laure produced and reported a one-hour documentary called "Visions of Vine Street" proposing 10 solutions to revitalize Over the Rhine. Vine Street is now home to "Gateway Quarter," an exciting urban neighborhood with new homeowners and unique businesses.

Laure is remembered for her investigative reports on the mismanagement of Paul Brown Stadium construction, which forced Hamilton County to make improvements on the next stadium construction project. She has 18 Emmy awards.
Laure volunteers with Crossroads Medical Center in Over the Rhine, and is a longtime mentor with the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative.

She and her husband live in Mt. Lookout with a teenage daughter and toddler son.
