Comfort Station
This neighborhood park was donated in 1919 by heirs oGeneral Lewis Seasongood. The whimsical comfort station takes the form of a stucco-surfaced turret with a conical roof. built in 1930, this building was designed by R. Carl Freund, a prolific local architect. Reminiscent of the Tudor Revival style. (For more about Freund, see appendix.)
