MSD To Host West Fork Public Meeting On March 5
MSD's West Fork Project To Reduce Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) Into West Fork Channel
The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) is hosting a public meeting on the West Fork Project, which is part of the utility's Lower Mill Creek Partial Remedy.
The West Fork project -- an integrated watershed plan -- will eliminate about 173 million gallons of combined sewer overflows (CSOs) each year into the West Fork Channel, a tributary of the Mill Creek. The project will also improve water quality, create new jobs and provide opportunities for neighborhood revitalization.
The update will include:
- Project details/design
- Construction/traffic impacts
Following the presentation, MSD will host poster stations where participants can talk one-on-one with project managers and other staff.
