The City of Cincinnati’s Human Resources Department is seeking a Human Resources Analyst. This employee will administer and assist in the negotiation of the City’s union contracts, process grievances, conduct investigations and mediations, draft and interpret city human resources policies, and conduct training classes for city employees. Other duties may include budget preparation and administration, EEO investigations, developing civil service examinations, and developing and administering Human Resources initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS: Each applicant must have successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Major coursework in Human Resources or a related field is desirable. Prior Labor Relations experience in a public or private sector Human Resources environment is required. Public sector experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential. Must possess a high degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license. All required experience must have occurred within the last (5) five years. You are required to show your valid driver's license to the Human Resources Department staff NO LATER THAN THE DEADLINE DATE FOR FILING APPLICATIONS. Must be a Hamilton County resident at the time of appointment.
