Salary:  $52,235 - $71,929 annually

The City of Cincinnati, Human Resources Department (HR), is seeking to fill a Senior Computer Programmer Analyst (SCPA) position with advanced creative proficiency in PeopleSoft. This position will be responsible for continuous streamlining and improvements of the City’s current business processes. The person selected will serve as the HR liaison for the Cincinnati Human Resources Information System (CHRIS) and must possess unquestionable integrity and proven work ethics.

Major responsibilities will consist of the following:
· Determining business requirements with the ability to translate into functional and technical requirements.
· Troubleshooting HR issues and implement information systems solutions.
· Creating training and procedure documents, develop test scripts, perform system maintenance (set up tables for HR) and extensive testing for upgrades and enhancements.
· Daily operations support to end users which will consist of resolving issues and processing problems.
· Insure data integrity and accuracy, perform audits and ad-hoc reporting.
· Must have extensive experience using PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM with the ability to use PeopleSoft Query/SQL to query HR data tables.
· Extensive experience testing HR system development work is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS: Each applicant must have completed an Associate Degree from an accredited college or university preferably with a major in computer science, information technology, or computer programming. In addition, each applicant must have 1 year of paid advanced proficiency in PeopleSoft, performing duties as outlined above.

Each applicant must have completed 45-quarter credit hours from an accredited college or university with 30 of the 45 credit hours being in computer science, information technology and/or computer programming. In addition, each applicant must have 2 years paid advanced proficiency in PeopleSoft, performing duties as outlined above. All required experience must have occurred within the last (5) five years You are required to show your valid driver's license to the Human Resources Department staff NO LATER THAN THE DEADLINE DATE FOR FILING APPLICATIONS. Must be a Hamilton County resident at the time of appointment.
