District-Two Fire Chief Ron Davis reported on a one alarm structure fire with occurred yesterday in Price Hill. Fire companies responded to a report of a building fire at 911 Elberon Ave. and upon their arrival found a small kitchen fire on the second floor of a two family dwelling.

The fire was quickly extinguished and the kitchen was the only area affected. The tenants who were two adults and six children were assisted by the Red Cross. The loss is estimated at $2,000 dollars. The cause was from grease being left on the stove unattended. There were not any injuries to civilians or fire fighters. There was working smoke detectors in the apartment.
