One Alarm Structure Fire 1315 Considine Avenue

 

Fire Captain Michael A. Washington reported on a one alarm structure fire that occurred this afternoon in East Price Hill. At 3:20 PM the Cincinnati Fire Communication Center received several telephone calls reporting a structure fire at 1315 Considine Avenue.

 

The caller advised that everyone was out of the house. Initial fire units arrived on the scene discovering heavy fire and smoke showing from the second floor rear of a two-story (frame) single family private dwelling. An aggressive interior fire attack was performed in conjunction with a primary/secondary search of the dwelling revealing no persons found.

 

The fire was rapidly extinguished, a small of amount of fire extended into the attic space, which was found early and extinguished. There are no reports of injuries to civilians or firefighters. Damage is estimated at $25,000.00 dollars. Two adults’ occupants were displaced. Smoke alarms were present but did not operate. The Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit is on scene and is investigating this fire. The cause is listed as “Undetermined”.
