One Alarm Structure Fire 5460 Beechmont Avenue

 

District-Four Fire Chief Anson Turley reported on a one-alarm structure fire that occurred at 5460 Beechmont Ave. in Mt. Washington. At 1:15 PM yesterday fire companies were dispatched to an apartment building on fire at the above address.

When fire companies arrived they found light smoke showing from a brick three-story multi-dwelling. A small fire was located in a basement floor apartment. It took firefighters 10 minutes to control the incident.

Damage is estimated at $10,000.00 dollars. Occupants were alerted by working smoke alarms. The apartment was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There were no injuries to either civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is currently listed as undetermined. The Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit is investigating this incident.
