One Alarm Structure Fire 3150 Linwood Avenue


District Fire Chief Anson Turley reported on a one alarm structure fire, which occurred last evening in Mt Lookout. Fire companies were dispatched to 3150 Linwood Ave for the report of a building on fire. Initial fire fighters arrived on the scene they encountering smoke and flames coming from the first floor of a vacant two-story single-family structure.

It took firefighters less than ten minutes to bring the fire under control. There was no one in the structure at the time of the fire. The building did have smoke alarms but none were operable. There were no injuries to civilian or firefighter. Damage is estimated at $20,000.00 dollars. The Cincinnati Fire Department’s Fire Investigative Unit is investigating fire origin and cause, this fire is currently listed as “Undetermined”.
