District-two Fire Chief Gary Scott reported on a one alarm structure fire, which occurred at 4545 Midland Ave in Price Hill. At 3:39 PM the Cincinnati Fire Communication Center received a telephone call reporting a structure fire at the above location. Initial arriving fire units confirmed the presence of smoke throughout a two-story residential structure. Occupants had exited the building safely prior to CFD arrival.

An interior investigation by fire fighters discovered a small fire inside the back wall between the 1st and 2nd floor. The immediate area was immediately opened and a small fire was extinguished. Fire damage was contained to a small section of the interior wall.

A fire investigator was called to assist with the investigation. At this time, the cause is “undetermined” pending further investigation. Damage is estimated at $5,000. Smoke detectors were present and sounding. There were twenty-five fire personnel utilized at this incident. There were no injuries to civilians or fire fighters.
